Specialita del Giorno / Specials

Our specials change daily, according to what is available from local markets and purveyors of fine produce. We endeavour to keep this page as up-to-date seasonally as possible. New dishes launched in 2011 are the new speciality Salad featuring roasted beets thinly sliced, wild rocket leaves, crushed roasted cashews and warm goats milk cheese wrapped in herbs. Also popular is our new fresh fish, which is the green listed farmed Kabeljou from Espadon Marine in East London which arrives fresh weekly. The use of fresh fish is part of our concerted drive to use fish that are sustainable and most importantly recogniseable. Research indicates that more than 60% of fish sold in SA is not even what it purports to be, the result of fish arriving portioned, packed and frozen to often unsuspecting consumers who know no better. Ritrovo is committed to using only fresh whole fish from reputable sources and fillets its own fish to ensure the consumer are getting what the expect and to ensure the future of our fishing industry. The new menu for July 2011 definitely has a comfort food slant so come in and try some of the produce driven specials.

Some of our more popular current specials include the following:
