With our 16th birthday now a thing of the past, we would like to believe that we are a restaurant that has stood the test of time in the fickle South African environment. The reasons for this are many, but fundamentally the basis for the continued success of Ritrovo is you: our loyal clients.

We strive always to adhere to the classics and be true to our origins and heritage, but always to remain relevant. The essence of "Italian-ness" in our little world is the fact that we only make food that we really love and enjoy, and we are sure that you will too.

Our use of interesting locally sourced ingredients and the influence of local cultures on our food makes us no less Italian. What makes us Italian is our desire, like all Italians, to make you happy through the medium of our food. We are, and remain, a produce driven restaurant. We aspire, without shortcuts, to simplicity, and above all with integrity, to ensure that our clients always have the consistent Ritrovo experience.
