Wine Awards

The restaurant has won more prestigious wine awards than any other in South Africa over the years. The following awards are a sample:

• 1999-2011: Diners Club Diamond Award for the finest restaurant wine list in South Africa.
• 1996-1998: Diners Club Platinum Award
• Wine Magazine 5 star wine list award for the best restaurant wine list in South Africa
• Wine Magazine 5 star award for value for money

In addition, wines in the Nick & Forti's Fine Wines range have won many awards, as you can see below:

• Various Veritas gold, Veritas Silver,Veritas Bronze, Michelangelo and Swiss International Airlines wine awards on our first five vintages.
• 2006 Old Mutual Fairbairn Capital Trophy Wine Show: Epicentre 2004 scored 95 (one of only 11 wines to score Gold)
• 2007 Swiss International Wine Competition: The 2005 Shiraz won gold.
• 2009 Riedel Trophy for Best South African Bordeaux Blend for the Epicentre 2005
